Why would the settings of a game hinder the capabilities of a very powerful device? I’ve always hated having to choose between low or medium quality in the graphical settings of a game, feeling that my phone could easily cope with more, yet having no option but to choose from those two. I’ve since installed the Game Unlocker Extended Magisk Module. No magic involved, but it felt like it.
This module does not modify any game files, but is more of a system tweak that enables the “hidden” settings that games already have. Without it the system restrictions block the full potential of the settings being used. It’s like telling your smartphone to work at its full capacity.
Here’s what it actually delivered for me:
• Unlocked hidden graphics options in some games, which revealed new graphics options I had never seen before.
• MLBB & PUBG Mobile: enabled 120FPS / high refresh rate.
• No modification to the actual game files; supposedly “safer”.
• Supported my favorite games, including CODM, Free Fire, and Blood Strike.
• Stabilized the gameplay to allow for a consistently high Frames Per Second, resulting in virtually no frame drops and stuttering especially during key actions such as when reloading, during the most action packed parts of battles or when moving at high speed through the map.
1.8.4 – Optimized GPU rendering, and that’s really all you need to know, but for context: games looked better, and played better.
Process is easy. I applied it via Magisk Manager. And it’s also compatible with KSU Next, APatch and so on. I applied it, did a restart and had it ready for testing. There is a before and after feeling which I described also in my other tweaks pages. For weak hardware, it won’t bring any tangible benefits, but a powerful system will love the added velocity.
Yup, all things considered, this would be device and game dependent. For my test however, it went from very good to extremely good. A rooted device is required.
Wtf is this Then, finally, a logical note. Download the modules from the place we tell you to, and all will be well. Cheers.
