The VR Display KernelSU and Magisk module automatically enables desktop mode when connecting USB-C VR glasses. It systemlessly bypasses Android's external display prompt and installs the VR Monitor app to manage internal screen and touch controls natively.
Technical Details
Android 16 requires manual confirmation to cast screens, but this module bypasses the prompt by directly invoking the signature-level IDisplayManager.enableConnectedDisplay API via root. It monitors DisplayPort status via /sys/class/drm/ and automatically binds pointer devices to the external display. The systemless zip bundles the VR Monitor application for sysfs-level brightness control without altering core system files.
Core Features of VR Display
- Auto-Enables Desktop: Forces external display activation without user interaction upon detecting a DisplayPort connection.
- Pointer Association: Binds input pointers directly to the external display via hardware descriptor, surviving reconnections.
- VR Monitor: Automatically installs and updates the companion app to disable the internal screen and touchscreen.
- API Reflection: Uses reflection to access hidden system APIs, ensuring compatibility across different Android binder transaction versions.
Support & Requirements
Requires Android 16 & 16+ and a supported root manager like KernelSU or Magisk.

.ziprelease file. - Open the KernelSU or Magisk application and go to the Modules menu.
