Pocket S Performance Control
Developed by @hehk1234
Pocket S Performance Control is a KernelSU module engineered for the AYANEO Pocket S handheld. It manages thermal throttling thresholds, CPU core frequencies, and dynamic GPU profiles systemlessly, delivering sustained high performance without permanently altering system partitions.
Technical Details
The module pairs a command-line engine (perfctl) with a background keeper daemon that periodically reapplies clock limits and thermal trip points against the vendor power manager. It raises throttling thresholds up to 78 °C skin and 110 °C SoC temperatures while strictly respecting hardware safety limits and active battery current protection. Users adjust these parameters systemlessly using shell commands, Quick Settings APK shortcuts, or a bilingual KernelSU WebUI with instant reversion capabilities.
Core Features of Pocket S Performance Control
- Three Modes: Switch between Standard for battery preservation, Performance for sustained processing, and High to lock all CPU clusters and GPU clocks at maximum ceiling.
- Thermal Presets: Configure Stock, Mild, Aggressive, or Extreme trip points to delay throttling while staying within the 115 °C silicon junction threshold.
- Keeper Daemon: Prevent the vendor energy manager from overriding custom frequency targets under heavy loads via an automated background service.
- Bilingual Interface: Adjust per-cluster clock limits, execute RAM clearing, and toggle experimental GPU profiles through Quick Settings tiles, CLI commands, or a KernelSU WebUI.
Support & Requirements
Requires Android 13 on the AYANEO Pocket S (SG8275) with KernelSU root access.
How to Install Pocket S Performance Control
- Download the latest module zip archive to device storage.
- Open the KernelSU manager application and navigate to the Modules tab.
- Tap Install, select the downloaded zip file, and allow the installation script to execute.
- Reboot the AYANEO Pocket S to initialize the keeper daemon and CLI tools.
