Gray Ravens GKI is a pure AOSP Android 13 kernel designed for maximum boot compatibility. It forces version-mismatched vendor modules to load efficiently while delivering native KernelSU and SUSFS systemless root solutions.

Technical Details

This release drops legacy custom drivers and previous linux-stable merges in favor of a pure, stock-synced tree compiled with CLANG-19, ThinLTO, and MLGO. By keeping stock structs untouched and bypassing the MMC SPI CRC, it ensures proprietary OEM hardware boots cleanly without rejecting mismatched system files.

Core Features of Gray Ravens GKI

  • Base Architecture: Utilizes a clean Android 13-5.15 GKI 2.0 (5.15.211) foundation synced 1:1 with upstream sources.
  • Modules Control: Bypasses module CRC version checks and enables force loading or unloading for incompatible vendor files.
  • KernelSU Integration: Provides distinct VNL, KWS, and KSUN configurations bundled directly with SUSFS support.
  • Developer Notes: Retains stock AOSP configurations deliberately to maintain direct boot support for UNISOC and Transsion devices.

Support & Requirements

Requires Android 13 or newer and is compatible with KernelSU, Magisk, or APatch root managers.

How to Install Gray Ravens GKI

  1. Download the Gray-Ravens-GKI.zip file to your device storage.
  2. Open the KernelSU, Magisk, or APatch application and access the module menu.
  3. Flash the kernel file directly and Reboot your system.

Disclaimer: If a vendor module refuses to load, inspect the kernel log for missing symbols rather than CRC version mismatches.
