I’m sure all of us have been let down by that dreaded popup or those unwanted chat bubbles just at the moment we were about to take the perfect screenshot. I use PureShot Xposed Framework, and it has taken a load off my digital back for quite some time now. It’s a great tool for taking real clean app screenshots, and if you plan on making descriptions for the Play Store in the future, this will definitely make taking professional screenshots a lot easier.
Strip Away the Clutter
PureShot – The Ultimate Plugin. PureShot is more than just a plugin – it takes your screenshots and removes ALL of your UI, including chat boxes, paper dolls, cross hairs, and more! Here are some of the things that PureShot removes when you take your screenshot!
- Status & Navigation Bars: Completely removes the top status bar and the bottom navigation bar / gesture indicators.
- No More Annoying Popups: NO incoming notification popups, NO floating notifications, NO temporary toast messages will appear in your finished image.
- Overlays & Islands: Also removes mini floating windows, and hides the modern dynamic island on your screen from your lock screen and home screen.
- Video Elements: The add-on also removes Picture-in-Picture (PiP) videos, and all other random UI elements.
Why I Highly Recommend It
I used to spend so much time capturing screenshots only to have parts of the screenshot cutoff due to navigation buttons or to have to remove a toast message that appeared in the top right corner of the screen. PureShot has made this process so much easier and faster. After capturing a screenshot I get 100% pure app content. This is great for creating tutorials for other people to follow to showcase an app, or for designing user interface and user experience when creating an android app myself. And for random moments when you just want to capture and share a image with your friends.
Framework runs silently in the background, consumes no battery power, and delivers on its promise by providing a pure app experience without any extra interface for users to wade through.
