Game Booster App
Developed by @Horizon-25
Game Booster is a high-performance Android utility that uses Shizuku to execute low-level system tuning and background process management without requiring root access. It features real-time thermal monitoring and a persistent game library wrapped in a cyberpunk-styled dashboard to maximize FPS.
Technical Overview
The application utilizes a Hybrid Architecture, pairing a Kotlin/Java native backend with an HTML5/CSS3/JS WebView frontend. It connects via the Shizuku Binder to execute elevated shell commands, such as cmd package compile and settings put global, alongside manual memory trimming, accessing hidden Android performance APIs directly.
Core Features of Game Booster
- Elevated Execution: Performs system-level optimizations and aggressive background process management via Shizuku.
- Thermal Monitoring: Polls hardware battery and thermal intents directly for accurate, real-time temperature tracking that pauses when backgrounded.
- Persistent Library: Saves selected games locally using SharedPreferences/DataStore, ensuring the list survives reboots.
- Native Bridge: Streams native hardware telemetry into a zero-lag HTML interface via a JavascriptInterface.
Compatibility & Quick Setup
Requires Android 7.0 (API 24) or newer — install the APK and grant dev.rikka.shizuku.permission.RECEIVE via the Shizuku App.
