ClearBox is a systemless Android cleaning utility that reclaims storage by suppressing caches, clearing junk, and blocking unwanted app updates. It runs entirely via a terminal interface or a low-overhead timer without requiring heavy background processes.
Technical Details
ClearBox executes automated maintenance tasks using a specialized "Timed" component, ensuring minimal CPU overhead while dynamically blocking foreground cache generation through 10 to 30-second delayed wait updates. It enforces file-system level restrictions to stop forced software installations and utilizes custom compilation profiles (Dexoat) to accelerate application execution without altering system partitions.
Core Features of ClearBox
- Dynamic Blocking: Suppresses foreground app cache generation using delayed wait updates to maintain application stability.
- File-System Restrictions: Locks internal storage layouts and prevents forced application updates at the directory level.
- Automated Tasks: Runs background storage cleaning and F2FS garbage collection through a lightweight timer component.
- Advanced Compilation: Triggers system Dexoat or custom compilation modes like Speed and Speed-profile to improve runtime execution.
Support & Requirements
ClearBox requires Android 12 or newer and is fully compatible with Magisk, KernelSU, and APatch root managers.
