AstralOpt is a systemless root module designed for Android game thread scheduling on aarch64 devices. It automatically detects titles assigned to the Android Game Category and routes heavy workloads to the CPU Prime Core without altering system partitions.

Technical Details

Instead of relying on a static hardcoded applist or gamelist file, the background daemon dynamically identifies active games via Android's native Game Category flag and tracks multi-process IDs (PIDs). During gameplay, it isolates up to three heavy compute threads for Prime Core execution while reporting live service PID status directly to module.prop. Systemless operation is maintained alongside a low-overhead logging service built with C bindings via android_ffi, which automatically rotates logs at 1MB into daemon.old.log to prevent storage bloat.

Core Features of AstralOpt

  • Prime Core: Detects the processor's Prime Core and binds up to 3 heavy game threads during active sessions.
  • Dynamic Detection: Supports all installed titles carrying the Android Game Category flag without needing a hardcoded applist or gamelist file.
  • Multi-PID Tracking: Handles games operating across multiple process IDs simultaneously and writes live service PID status to module.prop.
  • Native Logging: Runs a C-bound logging service via android_ffi that rotates log files at 1MB into daemon.old.log.

Support & Requirements

Compatible with all modern Android operating systems running on 64-bit (aarch64) architectures via Magisk, KernelSU, or APatch root managers.

How to Install AstralOpt

  1. Download the latest AstralOpt .zip release package to your device storage.
  2. Open your root manager app (Magisk, KernelSU, or APatch) and open the Modules tab.
  3. Tap the install from storage option and select the downloaded AstralOpt archive to flash.
  4. Reboot your device to initialize the background daemon and apply thread scheduling.

Disclaimer: AstralOpt works alongside general system modules but may conflict if combined with other thread management or CPU scheduling modules.
