Honestly speaking, our phones are fairly smart but I think they can be more. They really should be without the unnecessary fiddling around we all do on a daily basis to accomplish even the most mundane tasks. So I installed KGPT Xposed Module via LSposed and to be honest, my phone is quite a bit different.

Special thanks to Mino260806 for creating the initial idea and implementation for this mod. Without this starting point the mod you read about here would not have been possible.

KGPT is a helper tool that lets you use and apply any AI model as a keyboard replacement, allowing you to apply them to any task or situation on your device.

I don’t even think of this as a mod so much as a full system overhaul that was actually thought through. Here are the things that have really stuck with me and are a part of my daily experience.

  • It Just Looks Good I’ve been excited to upgrade to Material You, and I’ve been able to do so on two devices already. My first reaction is that the new interface design is gorgeous, but that’s not what surprised me. When I logged in to one of my handsets, I saw that the colors of my wallpaper were used throughout. Yes, you read that right: my wallpaper colors are being used on my lock screen.
  • Search Superpowers: Now when I select some text, I get options to “Rewrite this,” “Translate it” or “Summarize it” all in one place. Magical.
  • Float in Style The new floating window feature is a game changer. I can now watch a video while texting or vice versa without having to deal with the annoying pop out split screen that used to happen all the time.
  • Type Less, Do More One of my most commonly used triggers opens my notes app with a simple phone shake. I use a custom command to avoid having to type it out every day.
  • It Stays Updated: The app will automatically update itself, without you having to search for a new APK online.

Customization is the real magic here. You can change anything you want: themes, blur effects, commands… I backed up the whole thing in seconds. If you’re already using LSposed, this module is a must. I’ve never felt like I’ve had the phone I wanted, until now.
