Module Overview
The ViPER4Android FX Magisk Module is an advanced DSP engine and equalizer system for rooted Android devices. It features a modernized Material Design 3 interface, bringing professional-grade audio processing, dynamic EQs, and legacy HAL or Android 14 AIDL support to modern smartphones.
I've been running this on my daily driver, and the per-device profile system is fantastic. It reads the MAC address of my Bluetooth earbuds and instantly swaps my dynamic EQs and convolver files the second they connect. You finally get proper Android 14 AIDL support, fixing the DSP processing headaches on newer firmware builds.
- Material 3 Redesign: A gorgeous UI overhaul built with dynamic theming to match modern Android.
- Smart Device Profiles: Switching outputs automatically loads the exact EQ and IRS files tied to your Bluetooth or USB DAC's hardware address.
- Deep Audio Control: Get hands-on with multi-band compressors, ViPER-DDC, and dynamic EQs featuring per-band thresholds.
- Per-App Processing: Using root access to fetch real session IDs allows you to apply custom DSP effects to individual media players independently.
Support & Requirements
- Android Versions: Modern Android (Android 14/API 34+ fully supported via AIDL), backward compatible with legacy non-AIDL HALs.
- Root Type: Magisk or KernelSU (Root is mandatory for session ID retrieval and AIDL shared memory files).
