SMOOTH UI AOSP is a systemless root module that sustains peak refresh rates on AOSP Android devices. It eliminates screen stutter, lowers touch sampling latency, and forces 2D GPU composition without altering core system partitions.

Technical Details

Under the hood, the module injects systemless build.prop overrides at boot to tune SurfaceFlinger frame buffers, display latch properties, WindowManager transition scales, and Dalvik VM heap sizes. By shifting 2D UI composition from the CPU to the GPU and refining pointer velocity and fling friction parameters, it prevents dropped frames and multitasking micro-lags while maintaining peak display refresh rates.

Core Features of SMOOTH UI AOSP

  • SurfaceFlinger Tuning: Adjusts system frame buffer and display latch properties to eliminate screen stutter and reduce dropped frames.
  • Hardware Rendering: Forces GPU composition for 2D system elements to offload UI drawing tasks from the CPU.
  • Touch Responsiveness: Lowers touch sampling latency and refines pointer velocity parameters for instant screen feedback.
  • Scrolling Fluidity: Tweaks system build.prop fling velocity, friction values, WindowManager transition scales, and Dalvik VM heap sizes for consistent frame pacing and micro-lag prevention during multitasking.

Support & Requirements

Compatible with all modern AOSP-based Android operating systems and requires a supported root manager such as Magisk, KernelSU, or APatch.

How to Install SMOOTH UI AOSP

  1. Download the SMOOTH-UI-AOSP.zip module package to your device storage.
  2. Open the Magisk, KernelSU, or APatch app and go to the Modules section.
  3. Tap Install from storage, select the downloaded .zip archive, and confirm the flash.
  4. Reboot your device to apply the systemless UI and refresh rate adjustments.
