Systemless Hosts

The Systemless Hosts KernelSU module provides essential system-level hosts file modification support for Android devices rooted with KernelSU or APatch. This modification allows users to run system-wide adblockers like AdAway without permanently altering the physical read-only system partition.

I've been running this on my daily driver specifically to get AdAway back up and running after switching away from Magisk. It simply mounts a custom hosts file over the system one, letting you block ads system-wide without breaking your root setup. Paired with ZygiskNext and a solid Play Integrity fix, my banking apps don't even know it's there.

How to Install

1. Download the latest systemless-hosts-KernelSU-module.zip file directly to your phone.
2. Open your KernelSU or APatch manager app and navigate to the Modules tab.
3. Tap "Install from storage", select the downloaded zip, and reboot your device.
