What’s new and exclusive in V13?
- Quantum Network (Westwood+ / BBR Algorithm): Switches the TCP Congestion Control to the Westwood algorithm. This is considered the secret weapon for competitive gamers because it helps to strongly suppress packet loss and thus results in a significantly lower and more stable latency (ping).
- ZRAM LZ4 / ZSTD Optimizer: Multitasking is slower than snail’s pace in default. V13 includes the ZRAM LZ4 / ZSTD Optimizer which is enabled by default and identifies the best compression on your device’s ZRAM and turns on the Hyper-Speed RAM I/O switch that enables faster app switching.
- GMS Doze Strategy (Battery Saver): Fix wakelocks from Google Play Services (GMS) that tend to waste lots of battery in Doze mode. Your notifications will be a lot less spammed by Google services that now seem to be behaving a bit better.
- Dalvik Hyper Threading: The dex2oat threads will use up to 6 cores in the system to accelerate the rendering and compilation of apps in the background.
- AI Neural Logic 8.0: CPU Scaling system has been revised. AI has the ability to read system loads with very high accuracy and hence you now have maximum “Performance” mode only when system load is really high like when playing a tough game. The system is still very cool during normal use.
