Module Overview
The Hook
Sound And Emoji IOS is a systemless root module that replaces default Android audio, typography, and emojis with authentic Apple assets. It uses a multi-stage boot pipeline to ensure iOS fonts, emojis, and 43 UI sounds persist across reboots without modifying the system partition.
My Experience
I’ve been running this on my daily driver to completely overhaul the stock Android aesthetic, and the aggressive background daemon is what makes it actually stick. Under the hood, it forcefully nukes Gboard and Google Play Services font caches during the boot sequence, which permanently stops apps like Instagram and Messenger from randomly reverting your emojis back to default.
Core Features
- Authentic audio overhaul: Replaces 43 system sounds, ranging from camera clicks to charging chimes and alarms, with exact iOS equivalents.
- Apple's SF Pro typography comes fully bundled alongside a high-resolution, system-wide iOS emoji override.
- Force-locking Meta apps via custom SELinux rules prevents Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger from rejecting the custom font directory.
Support & Requirements
- Android Versions: Android 11 through Android 16.
- Root Required: Magisk (v20.0+), KernelSU, KernelSU Next, or APatch. (Note: KernelSU users must have a metamodule like
meta-overlayfsinstalled).
