Network Optimizer is a non-root AxManager plugin that configures Private DNS, manages screen-off WiFi policies, and disables background scanning via Wireless ADB. It effectively reduces latency and conserves battery life without requiring system-level permissions.
Technical Details
This plugin executes standard system settings commands through AxManager's UID 2000 shell to safely configure private_dns_mode and control wifi_sleep_policy. It restricts background WiFi and Bluetooth scanning natively, bypassing the need for root access to manage network power consumption.
Core Features of Network Optimizer
- Private DNS: Applies secure domain name system protocols and custom hostnames directly over ADB.
- Background scanning: Halts unnecessary Wi-Fi and Bluetooth searching processes to preserve battery life.
- Screen-off policies: Keeps mobile data continuously active or alters Wi-Fi behavior while the device display is inactive.
- Three profiles: Delivers Ultra-low Latency, Balanced Power Saving, and Pure Power Saving presets alongside built-in connectivity tests.
Support & Requirements
Requires Android 8.0 or newer and execution via AxManager using Wireless ADB.
