Module Overview

KPatch Next is a standalone root module that introduces Kernel Patch Module (KPM) support to both Magisk and KernelSU environments. It utilizes binaries from KPatch-Next and magiskboot, allowing devices to run advanced kernel-level patches without migrating to a different root manager.

My Experience

I've been running this on my daily driver to test out KPMs without having to ditch my standard Magisk setup. It basically injects APatch-style kernel patching capabilities straight into your current root environment using proven binaries. It’s a massive time-saver if you want to experiment with advanced kernel modules but prefer the stability of your existing manager.

Core Features

  • Standalone KPM integration for users who want APatch functionality while sticking with their preferred root manager.
  • Built using reliable patch scripts pulled directly from the main APatch repository.
  • Bundles the official magiskboot binary to handle boot image modifications safely in the background.

Support & Requirements

  • Supported Root: Magisk or KernelSU
  • OS Support: Android environments compatible with standard KSU/Magisk installations

How to Install

  1. Download the latest KPatch Next .zip release file to your device storage.
  2. Open your Magisk or KernelSU app and navigate to the Modules tab.
  3. Tap "Install from storage," flash the downloaded zip, and reboot your phone.
