Module Overview
NavTweaks is a root-level Magisk module designed to modify the navigation bar on Android devices. It allows users to hide the default gesture pill or customize the navigation area, providing a true full-screen experience without relying on custom ROMs.
I flashed this on my daily driver, and it completely removed the annoying bottom space taken up by the gesture pill. Poking around the new WebUI made configuring the tweaks fast, and it honestly feels like a native Android feature now.
Features
- True full-screen by hiding the navigation pill and eliminating bottom padding.
- WebUI configuration lets you adjust settings directly without typing terminal commands.
- Volume selector built right into the installation process for quick customization.
- Auto-update support handled quietly in the background via update.json integration.
- Broad compatibility across most custom ROMs and standard stock firmware.
Support & Requirements
- Android 10 through 15+
- Magisk v20+, KernelSU, or APatch (KernelSU users must add SystemUI to the root list but keep unmount modules disabled)
How to Install
- Flash the NavTweaks .zip file in your preferred root manager.
- Follow the on-screen volume key prompts to pick your exact settings.
- Reboot your device to apply the changes.
Why Download This Module?
If you hate screen burn-in from the static gesture bar or just want more readable screen space, this tweak fixes both issues. It runs completely systemless, meaning your core system files stay intact while you get a cleaner, edge-to-edge display that looks great on modern bezel-less phones.
