I am going to be honest with you for a moment. Nobody likes it when two ads that you cannot skip come on before the best part of a video. I used to get really upset about it. Then I finally used my Android for something useful and installed the YouTube Premium Magisk Module.

I am never going back to the way it was before.

If you have a phone this change completely changes how you use YouTube. The Magisk method is different from modified apps that sometimes crash or make you install extra apps just to log in. The Magisk method works with your system. When I made the switch I noticed it worked smoothly and it felt just like using the official YouTube app. Just without the annoying things that ask you to pay.

What really made me like this was that once you install the module you get these features away:

• Ad-Free Viewing: No loud and annoying ads interrupting your videos. You just get the content.
• Background Play: This is great. I can lock my phone. Listen to long podcasts or video talks while I am walking my dog.
• Picture-in-Picture Mode: This is perfect for doing than one thing at a time. I keep a video in the corner of my screen while I look at Reddit or text my friends.
• Offline Downloads: You can easily download videos for when you’re on your way to work or on a plane without needing to pay for a subscription.
• YouTube Music Premium: It does not just fix the video app it also unlocks the Music app.
• Access, to ReVanced Extended: The module works with ReVanced giving you all the extra settings that people who like technology love. Like SponsorBlock and custom playback speeds.

It takes maybe five minutes to set it up. You just install the zip file in your Magisk Manager restart your phone. You are all set. If you hate ads much as I do and you already have a rooted device you should really try it out.
