Android Auto Systemizer: Enable Priv-App Features (Root)

The Android Auto Systemizer is a root module that systemlessly installs Android Auto as a privileged system app in the /product partition. This setup grants the required system-level permissions for automotive projection, persistent background services, and privileged USB access.

I've been running this on my daily driver to finally get wireless projection working without random disconnects. By injecting the official Google stub APK and an RRO overlay, it tricks the OS into treating Android Auto like a native system component while letting the Play Store handle the actual updates. The built-in anti-bootloop protections also mean I never sweat when flashing it on a fresh custom ROM.

Support & Requirements

• Android Versions: Android 9 (Pie) through Android 16.
• Root Solutions: Magisk (v20+), KernelSU, KernelSU Next, and APatch. (Note: KSU/APatch users must have a meta-overlayfs module installed).

How to Install

1. Flash the downloaded .zip file through Magisk, KernelSU, or APatch, then reboot your device.
2. Open the Google Play Store, search for "Android Auto", and tap Update to replace the stub with the full application.
3. Plug your phone into your car's head unit to trigger the initial projection setup.
