We’ve all been there – sacrificing battery life and performance for that extra frame or high bitrate stream. But as phones have shrunk in size while amping up the specs, thermal throttling has become an increasing issue for heavy gamers. It’s no fun to be on the verge of victory, only to see your phone’s temperature and frame rate climb as it intentionally slows down your device to keep it from burning your hand. That’s been a reality for Android gamers for years, until case maker Case-Mate took aim at the problem.

My Honest Take and a Quick Warning
This is a fantastic addition for competitive play, providing a great boost in performance, but do NOTE THAT SAFETY FEATURES ARE DISABLED WHEN USING THIS MODULE, your phone will get very hot so PLEASE use your phone with a phone cooler as I do, but nothing beats the performance out of your phone and keeping it cool is easy, so it’s worth the slight risk of battery degradation over time if you want the ultimate performance.
