I think every one of us has dealt with lag in games. There’s truly nothing as frustrating as being in the thick of things in a shooter like Call of Duty: Mobile or trying to navigate what feels like a map the size of your province in Genshin Impact, and then suddenly the frame rate drops for what can feel like an eternity. I’ve definitely run into frame drops and lag while gaming on my Tecno Pova 5.
Which is why I almost always go for non-root adjustments. I’ve been trying out a new mod recently which was suggested by @modulegaming6969fps (yeah, that’s his actual name) – the Adaptive Composition Engine plugin by him, acquired via AxManager. Extremely easy to apply.
I’ve been using this exact setup for a very long time and the difference is simply day and night. As we all know, there’s a gazillion apps out there claiming to optimise your phone, but in reality they do nothing except clearing your RAM, which is basically the most superficial optimisation you can do. This plugin actually gets into the internals of the Android OS and optimises it to the way it was originally intended to function. The entire graphics processing is re-aligned so to speak in a way that the actual training weights (data) that the GPU has to process are greatly reduced, which makes a huge difference.
Here are the core features you actually care about:
- Gaming Performance Optimisation Core allows for more dynamic adjustments to the underlying system, which can result in faster and more enjoyable gaming experiences when playing heavier titles.
- Hardware Virtual Display Toggle: We provide a simple action-click button to enable disable the hardware virtual display on demand.
- Composition Mode Switcher: This feature has a dedicated Web UI which makes it very easy to switch between different composition modes on the fly.
If you’ve been searching for a consistent framerate on your Android device without the hassle of rooting this is probably what you need. It completely rejuvenated my mobile gaming experience with no terminal fiddling or scary tweaks needed.
