Factory settings on smartphones tend to play it safe on the battery side, in order to optimize performance and longevity. Not really what you need in a competitive match in a ranked environment. I’m trying out the Overclocking GPU & CPU Module, to see how it can push my smartphone to perform at a higher level.
Unlocked rooted users can flash the ROM via Magisk or APatch but non-rooted users should follow our updated method using the non-root plugin through AxManager which is what I did.
It’s not about being speeding lunatics. It’s about fine tuning. This is what the device focusses on.
- Enhance System: UI and app responsiveness; feels zippy.
- They fixed the multi-tasking issue with heavy games I had to switch away from the game I’m playing to check a text, and instead of going back to the same spot and often with some progress lost, the game didn’t close which is a great improvement.
- Added Tuning Tweaks: It includes system-level tweaks that you’d have to tweak yourself under advanced sections if you had root access.
- Optimize FPS: Games feel more consistent with less frame drops during heavy action scenes.
- Optimize All Games: This should include all games not just one.
- RAM optimization In this version we optimized the RAM, which resulted in the apps staying in the memory longer and less of the apps had to be reloaded from scratch.
- Optimize Battery: Battery management was the core adjustment. It was meant to prevent battery drain. The battery didn’t drain as rapidly as before.
So after taking the SmartBatt module for a spin on my Samsung S21, the result was pretty amazing really. Long gaming sessions no longer resulted in me having to juggle a blowtorch in my pocket whilst trying to get through the next level. And yes, that’s exactly what it felt like – now it felt like a normal phone again, instead of a heavy beast that decided to turn itself into a blowtorch for no good reason. If your phone is feeling sluggish, the SmartBatt might very well give it a bit of a boost it needs.
