CoreShift Power Saver works with the Android system to help save power. CoreShift Power Saver does not change how Android handles power. CoreShift does not force apps to stop or keep running all the time. CoreShift handles background processes and threads in the way Android manages tasks. CoreShift uses the times when the phone is free.

The module makes small changes that you can undo if you want. The module only changes things when needed.

  • You can use the task profiles that come with the system to give background tasks a lower priority
  • Use the scheduler for tasks and manage the workload. Do not use the priority system in the wrong way.
  • Use cron to set up regular maintenance tasks that you have planned
  • How do I fix the device when the screen turns off?

CoreShift works to finish the job and keep things steady. CoreShift does not try to get the highest test scores. Each action builds on the last action. You can see what each action does. Every action works the same way Android handles power and tasks.

Key principles:

  • Try to avoid using tight loops
  • There is no permanent priority lock
  • You do not need to change the Android logic
  • The overhead stays low. The compatibility stays high.
