Who hasn’t had their phone turn into a pocket torch during long gaming sessions, ready to spontaneously combust into a nest of flames at any moment. I was at that point with The Amazing Spout 2, furiously mashing at the screen as I tried to beat back yet another wave of monsters to progress past a particularly grueling boss battle. It wasn’t until I scored the Leo Lite module, however, that I realized just how simple it was to stave off screen burn for good. And the absolute best part is that I don’t need to go through the usually painful root process to do it either.
What Does Leo Lite Actually Do?
With iSTANT root you can access many settings that have been locked by the manufacturer. Here are a few of the coolest features that you can access with this software. Overclock your processor for improved speed. Use the root software to overclock your SD card speed. Change your LCD refresh rate for increased endurance. Rooting your phone allows you to alter many of the phone’s settings that would otherwise be restricted.
- Disable Thermal Management: It tells the phone to calm down. So, it won’t throttle your performance.
- Disable Vsync: This will improve the performance on the video side reducing the lag and should provide a smoother experience.
- Skiavk Rendering: Optimizes how graphics are drawn.
- over the top: Overclock CPU & GPU: Gives your hardware a temporary, controlled boost.
- FPS BOOST: The aim is to achieve a higher and stable FPS.
- Adjust Temperature Limits: Manages heat more aggressively for performance. Now you can dial back the performance and heat to make the phone last longer.
- Surface Flinger Tweaks: Optimise display compositor rendering for higher performance.
My Take? Use It Smartly. The new “Switch to High Power Mode” feature isn’t a magic button that will suddenly transform your phone into a super powerful supercomputer. It will provide increased performance for very specific tasks, such as gaming, and then quickly return to normal operation in between for things like web browsing. I’m using it for my big gaming sessions and can feel the boost in performance, but I do have to keep an eye on my device’s temperature to make sure things stay within safe parameters. For most users, there is probably very little use case for this new feature. For enthusiasts though, it’s fun to play around with, and could perhaps even open the door for some creative workflows for very heavy power users.
With Leo Lite, you are in control! Whichever route you take whether through Magisk or AxManager, you’ll have a fantastic performance boost riding experience while still maintaining full responsibility on the road.
