Module Overview

Vexylon is a Magisk module designed to disable almost all temperature protection sensors on an Android device, except for the battery temperature sensor. This prevents thermal throttling, forcing the device to run at maximum performance even when generating excessive heat.

I tested this to stop my frame rates from tanking during long gaming sessions, and it definitely works by bypassing the system's heat management. However, your phone will get dangerously hot, so you absolutely need a physical phone cooler to avoid cooking your motherboard.

  • Disables thermal throttling by shutting down temperature sensors for the CPU and GPU.
  • Maintains peak performance for extended periods, stopping the device from slowing down to cool itself.
  • Keeps battery protection active, meaning the system still monitors battery thermals to prevent catastrophic failure.
  • Requires external cooling because removing these safeguards can damage internal components like power ICs and displays.

  • Android Versions: Compatible with most rooted Android versions (specifics vary by device).
  • Root Requirement: Magisk, KernelSU, or APatch.
