Let’s face it; getting a Unisoc chip smartphone, means getting a feel of the world’s most bended knees as the high end performance can often times feel like running a marathon while wearing flip-flops! Long, endless waits in Mobile Legends while I watch the frame rate drop at the most wrong timings for the all important team fight action – it was all very annoying, but now I get to have a taste of the high life, or at least a far more enhanced experience, thanks to experimenting the all-new Unisoc Priority UFW Module.

Whether you’re the most hardcore root user or the most cautious, trying to avoid the system folder as much as possible, this module is designed for you. You can flash it using Magisk, KernelSU Next, Apatch or AxManager.

The speed change is immediately apparent. What’s happening internally on the phone is much more complex than just “faster”.

  • Smart Background Silencing: Using renice and ionice we order background applications to “sit down and be quiet” while your game gets all the attention it deserves.
  • Improved Identification of Game Modes I think it’s somewhat annoying that we have to deal with “Game Modes” notifications when we’re just quick checking something online like an email. This update seems to have made us better at identifying when we are actually playing the games in question.
  • Mobile Legends Special Sauce: There’s a special Unity runtime trigger for MLBB. My skills feel so much snappier after enabling it. Targeting the engine directly does seem to make a difference.
  • Dynamic UI Boosting We ditched the static “boost” label and now dynamically detect which thread(s) we are dealing with (in this case the RenderThread and the UI thread). This feels much more like a pixel personal trainer.
  • Aggressive Memory Management: RAMRecker is all about cleaning up the unnecessary memory while keeping the important apps like your keyboard and launcher running and available. Getting back to your home screen after exiting an app should not be an exercise in patience taking upwards of 5 seconds.
  • Zero Leftovers: It cleans up when you’re done playing. I don’t notice a huge battery hit, nor are there any lingering pop ups or icons for me to deal with.

Honestly, if you are sick of stutters and want your phone to work properly, then I’d recommend this version. As you can tell, it feels like some optimisation that Unisoc could have done to the chipset itself to give a much smoother performance.
