Module Overview

Thanox is an advanced Android system management framework designed for granular privacy control and background task manipulation. Inspired by Xposed and Thanos, it intercepts application behaviors at the system level to regulate permissions, auto-starts, and wake locks.

I’ve been running this on my daily driver to tame rogue apps that constantly chew through my battery. Under the hood, Thanox hooks directly into system_server, letting me completely freeze heavy social media apps the second I close them while feeding fake hardware data to untrusted software. If you want absolute authority over what your installed apps can and cannot do behind your back, this is the tool.

  • Smart app freezing automatically suspends targeted applications the exact second you exit them.
  • Spoof your privacy by passing blank contacts, fake MAC addresses, or randomized device IDs to nosy apps.
  • Granular background controls block silent auto-starts and stop apps from waking each other up.
  • Swap activity components on the fly to completely modify how your apps launch and behave.

Support & Requirements:

  • Android Version: Android 6.0 up to Android 16.
  • Requirements: Rooted with Magisk, KernelSU, or Apatch using an Xposed framework (LSPosed recommended). A restricted "Shizuku mode" is also available for non-rooted users.

How to Install:

  1. Install an Xposed manager like LSPosed on your rooted device.
  2. Download the Thanox APK, install it, and toggle the module on inside your LSPosed manager.
  3. Reboot your phone and open the Thanox app to configure your system rules.
