Module Overview

SkiaGL is a systemless Magisk and KernelSU module designed to switch the Android UI rendering engine to the Skia OpenGL graphics backend. It accelerates interface transitions, minimizes touch input latency, and stabilizes frame rates across daily applications.

I've been running this on my daily driver, and navigating through heavy web pages or scrolling social feeds feels noticeably sharper and more fluid. Swiping around the UI no longer drops frames, giving the phone a snappy, premium feel.

Core Features

  • Skia OpenGL rendering forces system-wide UI acceleration for faster hardware-backed graphics.
  • Lower touch input latency.
  • Stable frame rates prevent annoying stuttering during animations and gaming sessions.
  • Better energy management.

Support & Requirements

  • Supported Android: Android 8.0 and above
  • Root Type: Magisk or KernelSU required

How to Install

  1. Download the SkiaGL zip file and open your Magisk or KernelSU manager app.
  2. Head to the Modules section, tap "Install from storage," and choose the module file.
  3. Reboot your device to fully activate the new graphics parameters.
