Module Overview
Smooth Tweaks is a performance-focused Magisk module built to eliminate system lag and reduce UI stutters on Android. It modifies core system parameters, including CPU scaling, hardware rendering, and background process management, to deliver a consistently fast and highly responsive user interface.
I've been running this on my daily driver, and the immediate difference in app launch speeds is striking. By forcing hardware 2D and 3D rendering while cutting out background logs, the module makes swiping through the interface feel incredibly snappy. It even dropped my boot times significantly by deliberately disabling the startup animation.
Core Features
- Hardware rendering adjustments force OpenGL 3.0 and dedicated 2D/3D processing to handle heavy UI graphics effortlessly.
- Killing background logs stops unnecessary system read and write operations, saving active memory for the apps you actually use.
- Instant CPU boosting kicks in during heavy tasks to prevent random micro-stutters when switching rapidly between apps.
- Faster system booting occurs directly from the removal of the boot animation alongside automated Fstrim filesystem management.
Support & Requirements
- Supported Android: Android 8.0 and above
- Root Type: Magisk or KernelSU required
