Module Overview

Mic Fix is a systemless root module designed to resolve microphone issues on Android devices. It modifies audio configuration files to correct low volume, fix app-specific audio failures, and eliminate cracking sounds by disabling the handset noise canceler without altering core system partitions.

When I tested this module, it essentially bypassed the aggressive built-in noise cancellation that often ruins voice notes and video recordings. You will immediately notice clearer calls on apps like WhatsApp and Zoom because it patches the mixer_paths.xml file systemlessly behind the scenes, rather than forcing you to rely on clunky third-party equalizer apps.

Features

  • Universal Support: The script runs cleanly across most Android versions without requiring specific device patches.
  • Volume Correction: Voice output gets a significant boost, ensuring people can actually hear you during phone calls.
  • Audio Distortion: Digital noise and cracking sounds during media recordings drop noticeably.
  • Systemless Framework: Stock files stay untouched since everything processes securely through Magisk.
  • Root Restoration: Devices that lose microphone functionality right after gaining root access get it back instantly.

Support & Requirements

  • Supported Root Managers: Magisk, KernelSU, APatch, and Kitsune Mask.
  • Requirements: A rooted Android device. If you run other sound modifications, install the AML (Audio Modification Library) module alongside this one to prevent conflicts.

How to Install

  1. Open your preferred root manager app (Magisk, KernelSU, or APatch) and navigate to the Modules tab.
  2. Tap "Install from storage" and select the downloaded Mic Fix .zip file.
  3. Wait for the flashing script to finish, then reboot your phone to apply the changes.
