Module Overview
The MicroG Installer is a systemless root module that replaces resource-heavy Google Play Services with a lightweight, open-source alternative. It restores device performance and extends battery life while maintaining app compatibility and push notifications through the included MicroG framework and Aurora Store.
I've found this module breathes new life into older hardware by slashing background RAM usage from around 500MB down to roughly 50MB. Under the hood, it injects MicroG Services Core and FakeGApps directly into the system, meaning you get working location services and push notifications without the constant battery drain of official Google binaries.
- Dramatically lower RAM usage by replacing official Google frameworks with GmsCore, keeping background processes exceptionally light.
- Built-in signature spoofing via the included FakeGApps component, ensuring your device recognizes MicroG as a valid service provider.
- Private app downloads through the bundled Aurora Store and Aurora Services, allowing background installs directly from the standard app library.
- Native contact and calendar sync components ensure you do not lose access to your schedules or phone numbers after dropping heavy tracking services.
