Licking Thermal

Licking Thermal is a Magisk module designed to automatically disable thermal throttling on Android devices during gaming sessions. It temporarily bypasses CPU and GPU power limits for specific applications, restoring standard thermal protection only after the user closes the targeted app.

I tested this module while running heavy emulators, and the annoying frame rate drops simply vanished. Under the hood, it forces thermal zones into userspace mode and locks the thermal HAL, preventing the processor from downclocking when things heat up. Just be prepared for a noticeably hotter phone in your hands.

How to Install

1. Download the Licking Thermal .zip file to your device storage.
2. Open your root manager, navigate to the modules tab, and flash the downloaded file.
3. Reboot your device, then edit the list.txt file inside the module folder to include your specific game package names.

⚠️ WARNING:
This module completely disables your phone's built-in temperature protection. Running your device without thermal limits can lead to severe overheating, permanent hardware melting, or battery degradation. You assume 100% of the risk and responsibility for any hardware damage.
