Module Overview
KernelSU Grant Toast is a lightweight root module that restores Magisk-style superuser toast notifications to KernelSU. It monitors real-time root authorization events through the system log service, immediately alerting users on-screen whenever an application gains root privileges.
I tested this module to get instant feedback when apps request root, and it works remarkably fast. Under the hood, it takes over the ksud log stream right after boot to catch authorization events without needing Zygisk or extra frameworks.
Features
- Instant popup alerts display on your screen the exact moment any app receives root access.
- Customize notification text to match your personal preference or style.
- You can exclude specific apps from triggering popups so trusted background tools stay quiet.
- Standalone design means it works directly with native KernelSU without requiring Zygisk or MetaModule.
