❄️ FROST — Thermal Control
⚠️✅ Update: V3.1.0
I have pushed this to the absolute limit of what Android allows.
FROST was developed to monitor and control your device's thermal behavior using only the resources that are genuinely accessible by the system. The functions have been heavily optimized to work safely, lightly, and efficiently—without making false promises about things Android simply does not allow without deeper system access.
🧠 The Reality of Android Thermal Control
Unfortunately, thermal management on Android is quite restricted, especially without root privileges.
- No Direct Control: It is impossible to directly manipulate all the hardware parameters responsible for temperature.
- System Overrides: Many crucial thermal decisions remain strictly under the control of the kernel, the device manufacturer (OEM), and the Android OS itself.
⚙️ Refinements in V3.1.0
Even with these strict limitations, I have meticulously carefully reviewed every single function within FROST:
- Streamlined Code: Completely removed anything that didn't add real, measurable value.
- Maximum Efficiency: Highly optimized the tweaks that actually contribute to thermal stability.
This is the absolute maximum I can extract from Android without crossing the boundaries of system limitations.
