Droidspaces is a lightweight, zero-terminal container runtime that lets users run full Linux distributions natively on Android and Linux. It uses Linux kernel namespaces for process isolation, providing full init system support like systemd without any virtual machine overhead.

Setting up Ubuntu through the built-in cloud repository took less than two minutes without touching a command line. The app automatically handled backend binary extraction and post-extraction fixes, making the container feel fast, responsive, and properly isolated on my rooted phone.

Support & Requirements

• Root Access: KernelSU (recommended), Magisk, or APatch with root permissions granted.
• Prerequisites: Compatible kernel with container and namespace support enabled.

How to Install

1. Download and install the latest Droidspaces APK.
2. Allow the automatic backend setup to complete, which extracts the necessary architecture binaries to your system storage.
3. Navigate to the Containers tab, tap the cloud icon to browse the Rootfs Repository, pick a Linux distribution, and complete the container setup wizard.
