How to Install?
- Unlock Your Bootloader This will first require unlocking your bootloader.
- Get the App and Your Boot Image Download the “KernelSU Next Manager” link above and install it to your phone. Get a copy of the “boot.img” file from the stock firmware for your phone and place it on the storage of your phone.
- Patch The Image: Open the KernelSU Next Manager app, hit Install, and choose Select and Patch a file. Pick that
boot.imgyou just saved. The app will do its magic and drop a new, patched file in your Downloads folder. - Flash via Fastboot: Your phone into Fastboot/Bootloader mode. Connect your phone to your PC, then run:
fastboot flash boot [name_of_patched_file].img - Reboot and Verify: Type fastboot reboot to reboot your phone.
When your phone boots up, open up the KernelSU Next Manager app. If you see the screen say “Working” in green, then your phone has been successfully rooted.

I find the method of installing seamless bulk module installations a lot faster than having to individually (manually or via recovery) flash each one. This package contains GKI updates as well as non-GKI updates and should install fine on any custom or stock kernel. If you’re interested in this type of package, the installation method of module updates via this new bulk package is very fast for those of us who don’t want to individually (manually or via recovery) flash each one.
