When your Android phone overheats during heavy gaming sessions, aggressive background throttling ruins the frame rate. The Thermal Void module tackles this by replacing stock temperature constraints with a more flexible, root-level environment tailored for specific hardware.

The Thermal Void module is a root-level performance utility designed for Magisk, KernelSU, and APatch systems. It mitigates background app conflicts, manages PID processes, and improves sustained device performance. Current builds prioritize Snapdragon and MediaTek chipsets while officially dropping support for Exynos architectures.

Under the hood, this module actively kills heavy PIDs and resolves user limit conflicts that typically bog down memory. I’ve been running this on my daily driver, specifically testing it on a Tecno Pova 5 with a Helio chipset, and the sustained performance during intense gaming is noticeably smoother. The added shell notifications and live refresh rate detection also make it super easy to monitor what the system is actually doing while you play.

  • Built-in PID killer directly clears stubborn system processes.
  • Resolving user limit conflicts prevents unexpected foreground app crashes.
  • Helio G88 prioritization offers massive stability gains for the Redmi 10 series.
  • Real-time system tracking via the new refresh rate detector and shell notifications.
  • Exynos support dropped entirely to focus development exclusively on Snapdragon and MediaTek hardware.

If you run a MediaTek or Snapdragon device and desperately need to bypass stock thermal throttling for competitive gaming, this is worth flashing. Just remember that Samsung users with Exynos chips need to look elsewhere.
